1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Reverie ("the Service") operated by Reverie AI ("we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time; continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU/EEA) to use the Service. By using Reverie you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately at support@reverie.ai if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Credits, Subscriptions & Payments

4.1 Credits

Certain features of the Service require credits. Credits are non-refundable, non-transferable, and have no cash value unless otherwise stated. Unused credits may expire in accordance with your subscription plan.

4.2 Subscriptions

Subscription fees are charged in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and no partial refunds are issued for the remaining period.

4.3 Pricing Changes

We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of price increases for existing subscribers.

4.4 Refunds

All purchases are final. We may grant refunds at our sole discretion in cases of billing errors or service unavailability. Contact billing@reverie.ai for refund requests.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, hateful, or discriminatory.
  • Create deepfakes or synthetic media that misrepresents real people without their consent.
  • Produce child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexualises minors.
  • Infringe the intellectual property rights of third parties.
  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract data from the Service.
  • Circumvent usage limits, security measures, or access controls.
  • Use the Service for spam, phishing, or other deceptive practices.
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written permission.

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate your account if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these rules.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our IP

The Service, including its design, software, trademarks, and underlying technology, is owned by Reverie AI and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

6.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you upload to the Service ("User Content"). By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, process, and display that content solely as necessary to provide the Service.

6.3 Generated Outputs

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and applicable law, you own the outputs generated using your prompts and inputs ("Generated Content"). You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of Generated Content does not infringe third-party rights.

6.4 Feedback

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide to us may be used by us without restriction or compensation to you.

7. AI Services & Third-Party Providers

The Service relies on third-party AI model providers (including Google Vertex AI and others). AI outputs are probabilistic and may be unpredictable. We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of any AI-generated content. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content may contain errors, biases, or unexpected results.
  • The availability and capabilities of underlying AI models may change, which may affect the Service without notice.
  • Your prompts may be transmitted to third-party AI providers for processing in accordance with their terms and privacy policies.

8. Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free access. We may suspend or modify the Service at any time for maintenance, upgrades, or other operational reasons. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of planned downtime where possible.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR THAT OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, REVERIE AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Reverie AI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including IP, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will do so.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.

14. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
